2016 IFMAR World Champion David Ronnefalk from Sweden has claimed his first VRC World Championship title by winning the 15 minute long A-Main open final 1:8 electric buggies at the RC Tracks of Las Vegas off-road track, the very same track Ronnefalk won his IFMAR Worlds title 3 months before.
2014 VRC World Champion Marcin Maliński from Poland took second 2nd some 9 seconds back on Ronnefalk, and pole-sitter Warren Jones from the US snatched away 3rd from Swede Robert Hillman in the very last corner.
For David Ronnefalk it was a 'take off and never look back' final without too many trouble. Warren Jones had the speed but got himself in trouble just too often, clearly lacking the consistency that David demonstrated with his commanding lead. Just 3 laps before the end Jones was back in 5th but managed to clinch 3rd place right on the finish line.

VRC PRO WORLDCHAMPION 2016 1:8 NITRONASCARTRUCK SAO PAOLO OVAL
WORLDCHAMPION title of 1:8 nitronascartruck was solved at SAO PAOLO OVAL.
Nothing miracles happend as we witnessed after starting rounds that Britains multiple WC finalist Graham Raistrick had secured the pole for the Final. American, ovals supertalent Jimmy Flack was big favorite to take that pole, but he had to settle to second grid, 1.1 seconds behind Raistrick.
Switzerlands Pierre Dumusc drove very good semifinal and got third grid, 4.3 seconds behind Flack. Behind Dumusc, going to fourth grid was Vesa Inkeri from Finland. Vesa was 2.8 seconds slower than Dumusc. In fifth grid, was Philippe Gross, he had over 6 seconds to Inkeri at fourth place.

VRC PRO WORLDCHAMPION 2016 of 1:10 Nitrosedan spec class Melzo
Nitro sedan spec WORDLTITLE was solved at MELZO circuit in Italy. Allready from qualifying round it was pretty clear, who was man to chase in here. American Joshua Berman was looking very convincing from his first runs. Those under 21s laps were in target, and Joshua did this in perfect style. At semifinal round Berman gave a knock-out to others, hitting absolutely fantastic run and nobody couldnt answer that. Graham Raistrick was standing in second place heading for A-main, but even he didnt know how to gain Berman. Huhtala was in third and Saputra in fourth place.
VRC PRO 2016 WORLDCHAMPION 2016 JOSHUA BERMAN, USA
As the final started, Berman was everybodys target. But this 31 years old American didnt show no fear. He hitted fantastic run, and after 30minutes driving, he crossed the line over 8 seconds before Ital... read more

VRC PRO WORLDCHAMPION of 1:12 spec class CARPET JPH
From semifinal it was allready obvious that American Dana Bailes was the man to beat, as he wonned that round with 2 seconds margin to Viljami Kutvonen from Finland.
Unfortunatelly Kutvonen were not at the grid when FINAL was arranged. But there was blenty other gladiators to challenge Dana of the title. Multible WC finalist Graham Raistrick was in third grid, and other Brit, Reece Hodges at fourth grid. Raistrick result in semifinal was over 4 seconds slower than Dana`s, but this Britains laprobot had not showed everything yet.
So, it was looking Bailes and Raistrick fight, if others wouldnt find anything for the FINAL.

From the tone Bailes went to the lead and was hitting fantastic and consistent laps.
Raistrick, Hodges and German driver Lauter were doing very same behind and it was fantas... read more

SEASON 2016 electric nascartruck modified, round 12, Keitune Oval
TIMED PRACTICE
Season last race and closer of electric nascartruck series was helded here at Keitune Oval. Everybody was pointing to American Jimmy Flack, when some expectations were asked of race winner. OK, it was obvious that Jimmy was man to watch out in here, so fantastic his results are also from ovals. But in timed practice, Italian talent Andrea Giordano showed magnificent pace and left Flack to second position, with five seconds margin. As allways, it was so early stage of the event and nothing had solved yet. Everybody was looking those settings and getting miliar with the track. Third fastest in this not mandatory, starting round, was Austrian Alexander Dunkl. He was in good speed, as his gap to Flack was only 3.8 seconds.
QUALIFYING
In this round Giordano and Flack were missing, and didnt make the result. By this, Dunkl took his own and carry on his... read more

We are currently working on a Trophy and Hall of Fame feature for the website (finally...).
In the Hall of Fame all World Champions and Series Champions will be displayed with their (virtual) trophies. The structure we have developed goes back to the very beginning, 2011. You can select World or Series Champion, Club, Sport or Pro, which class and what year. With this Hall of Fame we will visualize all the Champions from the past till today.
Of course the trophies and awards will also be visible on each individual member page, here you will also see the trophies won in other official races, TQ awards and 1-2-3 positions in B-C-D mains. Also each event and Series page will have a trophy page.
One quite essential feaure will be that members should use real photos from themselves, not of their car or some other image, it would really depreciate the whole effort of creating such a Hall of Fame. Profile photos which only show your face are really what you want, like Dana Bailes and Pierre Dumusc.

EXE
We have released a new exe which has the new 'cars in background of pit table' feature disabled. Too many issues were reported and we have decided, as we are already well underway in the 2016 VRC Worlds, to disable this feature for now until we have had a chance to iron out the reported problems. In the test environment we were testing with very limited available replay files, on Live however we experienced some unexpected issues. We apologize for this inconvenience.
RALLY X1 TRACK
Some issues were reported in the past week since we released this track. We have prepared an update to fix these issues. This update will be released on Wednesday morning after the Qualifying round has finished and before the Semi finals start.

The 2016 IFMAR Worlds Las Vegas track has just been released following a last minute adjustment requested by the bet testers. As can be seen from the promo video, the Las Vegas track is in a 'blasted' state like it was in a later stage of the Worlds, quite different from most of our other off-road tracks.
This new addition to the collection of large outdoor off-road tracks is free only for the duration of the VRC Worlds, on January 3rd the track will have to be purchased or you need one of the all-inclusive licenses to continue to race on this track. The track is planned for the 2017 Series nitro and electric buggies and short course trucks.

The new Sao Paulo oval will prove to be a very demanding oval as it is quite different from the other ovals. With 175m length it's surely hight speed, but with a height difference of some 3 meters between the front and the back straight it means that turn 1 is serious drop, and turn 2 is a steep climb. First to go are the 1:10 nitro trucks. Enoy the VRC Worlds.
The track is free only for the duration of the VRC Worlds, on December 28 the track will have to be purchased or you need one of the all-inclusive licenses to continue to race on this track. The track is planned for the 2017 Series Nascar trucks.

With the start of the 2016 VRC Worlds 1:12 sportscars just hours away we have released the new VRC Carpet JPH track. The 255m long track is wide and has a great flow to it, which will make it easy for our Club level racers to get hooked. More advanced racers will have to practice hard to squeeze out the last tenths of a second out of this track. We expect very tight racing in the VRC Worlds. Thank you Jukka-Pekka for a great design!

Enjoy this new track!

VRC presents: the 2016 IFMAR Worlds track in Las Vegas. It has taken the VRC team little over 2 months to get this exciting track ready for the 2016 VRC Worlds. With 2016 IFMAR World Champion David Ronnefalk on the drivers list this is your chance to re-live the 2016 IFMAR Worlds and try to beat David on his own turf.
3D track designer and artist Tony West was pushed to the limit by the beta test team to make the track as close to the 2016 IFMAR Worlds track as possible, including the many holes and bumps. Having to master such a torn down track will add a new challenge to VRC racers!
The 2016 VRC Worlds kick off with 1:10 Short Course trucks on Dec. 6th, then 1:8 electric buggies on the 13th, and the 1:8 nitro buggies with David Ronnefalk on the 20st of December.
