2 New off-road tracks have been added to the track collection of VRC Pro. In fact these are 2 versions of the same track.
The VRC World Bash Pit is the new ‘public’ off-road track, meaning that it is free for all members, trial, lite and full members. This track has all the barriers removed and is ideal for just bashing around or to get a first short course driving experience. With the barriers removed it is even possible to use your key-board to control the car! This track will not feature time trial and race events, it is really just meant for a first experience. However, you can do multi-player sessions and even start Qualify and Race sessions to record replay files. Just a fun place to hang out and have fun!
The VRC World Off-road indoor track is based on the bash pit, but now has proper barriers to keep you honest on the track. The long awaited VRC Pro OFF-ROAD is now finally released, starring the immensely popular 4WD Short Course trucks. This is a fantastic milestone in the history of VRC: the leap from on-road to off-road racing. We are very happy to finally welcome the off-road community into VRC Pro and give them nothing less than a true off-road experience!
Virtual Short Course is said to be realistic beyond belief. According to the beta testers and others who have tried it, including Scotty Ernst, Rick Howard from Team Associated, Eoghain O’Briain from RedRC and off-road champions Atsushi Hara and Hayoto Matzusaki:

The off-road expansion release is now officially scheduled for Friday (10-08-2012).
The developers have succeeded in tackling the last few bugs and issues. Yes, we are finally ready. There is a lot of excitement among the beta testers about the short course car performance and realism as well as all the other new features.
It’s time to enter the era of VRC Pro off-road racing!
