In VRC-PRO you actually have to 'build' the car you race from a selection of components.
You start by selecting the chassis you want which defines the scale and class
and affects what parts are available during the rest of the build process.
You then select your engine, exhaust, wheels, body and fuel etc. and as you do so the parts appear on the chassis.
For an electric chassis he can select, besides the tires and the body, the electric motor, speed controller and battery. This car will then be saved as his default car. Each of the components is accurately modelled in 3D and can be viewed while the car is being built. The whole model can be zoomed in on and spun around to get a view from all angles, in true high quality 3D.
Once the car is built the user can start working on the setup of the chassis and the selected components. Depending on the skill level of the member more or less setup options will be available to him. It will even be possible to offer stock chassis and components which cannot be changed at all, ideal for stock class racing where just the driver skill counts!
Currently we have well over a hundred components ready to go and more in development and as we receive more from manufacturers this total will continue to increase up to and beyond release.
It is our policy to only feature the best components in VRC-PRO and therefore for each category of component there will be a maximum of 5 manufacturers to choose from.
