The new sim looks very nice. I would really like to see more dirt oriented races. These are really popular these days in my area.

Thanks..Can't wait!!

@racer x, I like what your doing, its good.
My previous comment was just suggesting that IF you wanted to actually put this car poll thing into action you should bug the manufactures.
But yeah I like your enthusiasm, its what we need.

and I would also vote for a Kyosho TF6 :) and a Team Magic E4 because its a car you would never buy but would like to try.

VRC needs a demo.. nowish, one car, one track, still some bugs, i don't think we would mind.

Seems like the attitude has changed on here quite a bit in the last few post. Now that is what I like to see. Everyone is starting to get excited again about the new sim. Why don't we keep it this way until the release. I also would like to theank the VRC crew for letting us know what is up. You guys don't have a clue what that means to all of us and I think you guy's are doing a hell of a job! Keep it up. I will keep the list going so you can see what people are intersted in and you may be able to use it, you never know.

Thanks for the update Tim, VRC Pro is really starting to come together.

@Captain Carnage: I've also used VRC in bootcamp (Win7, XP was a bit tricky as I can remember) a long time on a 15" macbook pro and a 27" imac. With USB3 NT.

Oops, forgot to say, for your list racer x, for the 1/12th electric section cars Corally (latest spec) would be nice and also the Yokomo car that won the World Champs recently would be nice.

Mmm, food for thought, great what racer x has done, hornets nest etc and got some feedback and things appearing on the VRC PRO site....great. Thanks for nagging and thanks to VRC being pro-active in their response.
Like the list of cars racer x is doing although seems a bit general (unless he is keeping a model list ready to send to VRC). Understand that they have to 'scan' cars in to get the correct design, but what about classic cars that have gone in the past and are no more, would be nice for todays drivers to have a go with the older designs of car and see exactly how good they are. Maybe even re-create the older tracks for them to try to set times and compare with the greats of the time.
This also sparks the idea of a 'Car Designer' module...being able to cut shapes out of stock materials and maybe have certain stock suspension items etc to design and assemble a car. How would the characteristics be done?
When I did 1/12th electric carpet racing many moons ago, this was another aspect of the hobby I enjoyed and came up with the swinging arms that they have now...even back then. Have VRC got a 'Car Designer' in the pipeline? this will probably be for VRC PRO 2 I think.

Hey guys great bit of news also read it in rc magazine I get where you have the vrc section. As for manufacture we want think vrc team said if there is on we want the email them and try to get the to join. Say if you keep adding up what people want like a small vote then in months time see how many vote they get and ones that arnt already in vrcsome out of us can email company and say look we did a vote these are the results do you think you could join in with the vrcteam to create a few car to go in the game. That's somthing we need to try and do that way vrc team don't have something els to add to thier big list of things to do.

Thanks alex

Listen people, I tried being an ass and it didn't get me any where but still typing on here. All I am trying to do is give people something to do while we wait on the new sim. Oh, it will be released and I think it will be worth the wait. I am not going to get technical about what they said or what they did, who cares! I was just trying to give people something to do, that is all.

Yesterday [08:19] by racer x
@Jay, That is not what the list is about, it is just something for people to look at while we are waiting. I don't know if you are being sarcastic by saying that or just giving your opinion. Anyway, why don't you tell us what car you would use in the new sim. Besides, how hard would it be for them to get one from a hobby shop in the local area to scan it and then give it back when they are done?

Yesterday [00:45] by Jay
I remember along time ago when VRC4 (that was the code name) was announced and I sent them an email or read or got told (it was along time ago) asking them about the decision process for the chassis's.

and it was...

VRC will only laser scan the cars into the game if they are sent a car kit free of charge.

I would imagine that is the same case today. So unless you want too send your car to VRC and never get it back maybe you should start bugging the manufacturers about it.
