We are receiving many e-mails about the off-road version after VRC staff was spotted at the Kyosho Off-Road Masters track in Germany end of April. We can now officially confirm that this is not just a rumor. However, the off-road versions (both for nitro and electric) are part of the v4 project which is under development already for over 1 1/2 year. v4 Is a complete overhaul of VRC with a complete game and graphics engine, new game logic and structure. This is a massive project and is expected to hit the market spring 2008. The nitro and electric on-road versions will be released first, in the second half of 2008 followed by the nitro and electric off-road versions.To give you an idea of what the new v4 game interface and off-road is going to look like we give you a sneak preview of the first off-road track we have modelled (yes the Kyosho Off-Road Masters track in Bischofsheim...).
