On Monday 12 and Tueday 13th of December the VRC website will be closed down for a major update. On Wednesday December 14th the site will re-open. This update is necessary to prepare the VRC website for VIRTUAL RC RACING v.3 which will be launched on December 14th as well.The most important feature of v.3 is dual-play over LAN or crossed cable. No, no internet yet, that's the next stage. You can hook up 2 computers and race each other on the same track at the same time! There are many smaller but significant improvements. The tire-model has been changed for an even more realistic feel of the car.v.3 Requires you to re-download all the tracks as their grip levels have been adjusted to meet actual grip levels. Of course re-downloading tracks that you have already purchased is FREE.This version will also be multi-lingual, we have prepared versions for French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Dutch. More languages will be made available in the near future. Also the website itself will be made multi-language. We are actually looking for help to do this job, pls. contact the webmaster if you are available to help out with translations. Both 2005 World Finals, to be held at Halifax and Messina, the pinnacle of the 2005 season, will be rescheduled. The 1:10 World Final will now start on Decemer 20, and the 1:8 World Final will start on December 27. Registration is still open so sign up now!
