As of March 10 2012 Virtual RC Racing v3 has been discontinued. It is no longer possible to create new accounts and purchase products in the VRC v3 webshop.

Current users can continue to use VRC v3 as a stand-alone service. There will be no more events organized for VRC v3. Daily challenges and dual player mode will be discontinued as well. Active VRC v3 racers can upgrade their v3 account to a VRC pro account.

Frank Hättich, the legendary VRC 1/10 scale Ranking number 1 from Germany, winner of the 2011 Virtual Winternats 1/10 and 2010 World Championship 1/10, has indeed won this 2011 Nations Cup 1/10 after another incredible performance.
